IHE USA Monitors Gain Real-World Experience

Each year, IHE USA recruits 70+ volunteer monitors to verify testing at the IHE North American (NA) Connectathon in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Monitors use their skills and expertise to review and evaluate interoperability tests completed by participating organizations at the IHE NA Connectathon.

Eligibility Requirements

Interested applicants must meet the general requirements described below. If you have any questions, please contact IHE USA at connectathon@ihe.net.
  • Must be in attendance for the full week of the IHE NA Connectathon 2017
    • Monday, January 23 to 12 noon ET on Friday, January 27, 2017
    • Testing takes place on all five days, we need monitors to be available to full week
  • May NOT be employed by a vendor testing at the IHE NA Connectathon, nor be under contract to or provide consulting or any other services to a participating vendor
  • Agree to complete IHE USA's conflict of interest form and non-disclosure agreement
  • Appropriate technical background and experience (as listed below)
Technical Requirements: 
Applicants must have appropriate technical background in one of the health IT areas listed below. Use the links to learn about the specific knowledge and skill sets for each IHE International domain.
Travel & Expenses:
IHE USA will sponsor travel, hotel accommodations, and provide a per diem to monitors. Please note, IHE USA will not support international travel outside the US and Canada.
